This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 150" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.
When you're ready to dump your black-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.
Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your RV's black-water tank and flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.
This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 1-1/2" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our LaSalle Bristol cable actuated RV waste valve for your black water tank spigot to hub connection. Folks, you're gonna get an impressive 150 inch cable or 12 feet six inches long. Now the waste valve is simply will allow the waste water to travel from your tank when the valve is open. Now again, you got this impressive 12 and a half foot long cable.
I'm gonna go ahead and zoom in. I'm gonna undo this cable first though, just so you can kind of see the operation of this and really get an idea of how big this truly is. So again, I'm not able to hold all of it up for you, but again, 12 feet long. I am gonna keep the cable off to the side here so I can show you how this works. So you have, again, the valve itself here, and as you can see, you got one side that is smaller than the other.
And you're gonna make sure when you're installing this that you're using a ABS solvent cement sold separately to secure this valve to your pipe. Now again, this works with one and a half inch diameter black water sewage pipe. Now as you can see, you've got the gate valve there in white. You have the T handle here. You've got two large nuts and a washer here.
That may not be the correct order. So make sure you're checking the instructions as far as that goes. But this is basically gonna be mounted in place to somewhere secure on the trailer RV, whatnot, RV. And then you're gonna simply pull the T handle when you want to open that valve and then pull it, push it when you want to close it. So I'm gonna have to step out of the view here so you can see this better, hopefully, 'cause this cable has to be straight, so bear with me here.
Try to get this where I can do it together at once here. Okay, there we go. So you can open it, push to close. And again, this is much easier once it's installed, but you get the idea right So the gate is opening and closing and again, you have the nice T handle. And again, that 12 and a half foot cable length. You don't have to worry about sticking our coating. The sewage is gonna stay off the seal is a non-stick coating rather that keeps sewage off those seals. The valve's been lubricated so it's gonna resist leaking. The cable's lubricated. So again, once this is actually straight, it works way, way smoother. I tested out earlier with the friend and it worked really good and this is gonna simply fit over the end of that sewer pipe. Again, the ABS solvent needed is sold separately. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together at this LaSalle Bristol cable activated RV waste valve. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
